Mr Moyon Michel, a barge tour guide, offers off-the-beaten-track tours of the Brière, a 20,000-hectare marsh, the second-largest marsh in France after the Camargue.
Our strength lies in our generations of real knowledge of the marsh. We live on the island of Fédrun, a village in the commune of Saint-Joachim, which is the furthest inhabited island inside the marsh. Thanks to our location, our services are right in the heart of the Brière.
Michel and Anita, his wife, not only offer you unusual walks, but also something to eat and refresh you, as on the landing stage you'll find a straw hut where you'll be served by Anita herself.
In this paillote, you'll be offered crêpes, galettes or local recipes such as eels or crayfish.
You can either book meals when reserving your walk in the heart of the marsh via Michel, or call Anita on 07-61-71-14-01 or go directly to the site.
