Jardin des Plantes de Saint-Nazaire
Created in 1884 by landscape architect M. Aubry at the request of the town, it provides a haven of peace for walkers and a play area for children. The garden overlooks the seafront and features many species specific to the coast, such as broom and veronica, as well as Mediterranean species.
A pergola embellishes the long driveway, with a variety of climbing species and collections of perennials.
Covering an area of 19543 m², the garden also has a rose garden.
Along the pathways, walkers will discover :
- A play area,
- A sentinel pollinarium
- A reconstruction of the pointed arch porch
- A rose garden
- Exhibition areas
- A restaurant
