Built in 1861, turned into an exhibition room in the 1990's.
Dominating the entrance to the Loire estuary, this fort was built in 1861 according to a national standard plan dating from 1846. The fortified earthen embankment that protects it offers a remarkable view of the Loire.
The fort organises nine exhibitions a year, each of which features two or three artists over three consecutive weekends, outside school holidays. The fort is run by a group of volunteers, "le groupe Fort", from the Maison de Quartier de Kerlédé.
