Easily accessible from the seafront, and with a bus stop right next door - the beach at Villès-Martin opens out onto the Loire Estuary.
Supervision is provided by qualified lifeguards in July and August, from 11.30am to 7pm on weekdays, and from 11am to 7pm at weekends, depending on the tides.

During the summer, volleyball courts are freely available, as are 2 slacklines accessible to all levels. These slacklines provide an opportunity to test your concentration and balance, while strengthening your muscles (accessible from the age of 6 for the 30cm-high slackline, and 10 for the 60cm-high slackline).

The beach at Villès-Martin has been awarded the Handiplage label, and lifeguards will be on hand to provide equipment for launching people into the water (tiralo and hippocampus). Information and bookings: 02 40 70 88 56.
Sanitary facilities and beach towels available.

Dogs (except guide dogs), horses and all other animals are forbidden on Saint-Nazaire's supervised beaches from 15 June to 15 September. (Authorised the rest of the year).

Free Wi-Fi access on the beach.

Villès is derived from the Latin word villa, which refers to a person's home. Villès Martin evokes the memory of a noble house in the district, once inhabited by the Rouaud de la Ville Martin family (Source: L'abécédaire des rues de Saint-Nazaire, Université inter-âges).
