Visitors, come and discover Grande Brière in a different way. This nature reserve is a haven of calm where you can take the time to observe and listen to a flower, a bird, a ripple on the water, the rustle of a duck's or heron's wings behind a few reeds...
VISIT BY BARGE - BRIÉRON BOAT
Jean-Sébastien Crusson, a professional Briéron guide, will take you on a 45-minute to 1-hour ecological tour of the marshes. Aboard a barge (boat), you'll glide silently along a multitude of canals to discover the typical species of the marshes: herons, ducks, coots, moorhens, spoonbills, blue throats, spring wagtails, reed buntings, wild boars, foxes, otters, gondola rats, muskrats, etc.
HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES
Discover the Brière in the company of our horses. Every day, we offer guided horse-drawn carriage rides. Discover the Brière countryside and its thatched cottages. Our guide will be delighted to answer any questions you may have.
You can fully appreciate the birdsong and the whispering wind in the maze of reed beds in complete peace and quiet.
This discreet walk will also give you the chance to listen attentively to our guides' fascinating explanations and to share some of Brière's secrets with them.
