Barbara Municipal Media Library

In the heart of the town, the media library opened its doors to the public in September 2010, in brand new premises with completely new equipment and furniture.
The media library has 73 seats and extends over a single 620 m platform, with the spaces defined by the furniture and its layout.
2 patios provide the natural light that is essential for comfortable reading and contribute to the feeling of well-being in a public space.
The media library offers a collection of books, CDs, DVDs and magazines, a television and portable music players for listening and watching, and 4 computers with internet access.

Activities on offer:
An activity area equipped to broadcast music and films - and fitted with a removable partition - can accommodate classes and develop activities for all audiences.
The librarians create a range of activities to showcase the books, CDs and DVDs in the collection.
The multimedia library also welcomes storytellers, actors, speakers, film-makers, authors, singers and musicians to offer a variety of free shows, concerts, meetings and film-concerts.
