Bonne Anse beach, a natural setting

This beach is lined with fisheries and the trees that overhang it offer shady spots. Plage de Bonne Anse takes its name from a cove, which is a small bay that extends slightly inland. In Saint-Nazaire, it was used as a waiting area for shallow-draught ships (Source: L'abécédaire des rues de Saint-Nazaire, Université inter-âges).
